Unwinding Passions: Sofía Calzetti Cover and Interview

“Staying curious and experimenting with different formats is key to keeping my content fresh and engaging.”

What inspired you to pursue a career as a social media influencer? Was it something you always dreamed of doing?
I’ve always been passionate about creativity and connecting with people, so becoming a social media influencer felt like a natural path. Growing up, I was fascinated by the way digital platforms could bring communities together, and how influencers could tell stories and inspire others through their content. While I didn’t always know it would become my career, I was drawn to the idea of sharing my experiences and style with a broader audience. When the opportunities started to come, I realized that this was my calling.

Can you share your first experience as an influencer? What was it like creating content for the first time? My first experience as an influencer was thrilling yet a bit daun- ting. I remember the excitement of putting my ideas out there and the anticipation of seeing how people would react. At the same time, there was a sense of vulnerability in sharing a piece of myself with the world. But as I started creating content, I felt a surge of energy and confidence. Seeing how people engaged with my posts was incredibly rewarding and solidified my love for content creation. It was the start of a journey that I’ve em- braced fully.

How do you prepare for creating content? Do you have any rituals or routines that help you get into the right mindset?
Preparing for content creation is all about setting the right mood. I usually start my day with some light exercise or yoga
to clear my mind and energize my body. Staying hydrated and having a nutritious meal also help me feel my best. Before I start filming or shooting, I like to visualize the message or vibe I want to convey. Music plays a huge role in my process—it helps me tap into the right emotions and energy, which I think really comes through in my content.

How would you describe your personal brand? Do you feel like it has evolved throughout your career as an influencer?
My personal brand is all about blending authenticity with style and inspiration. I love experimenting with different aesthetics and themes, but at the core, it’s always about being true to my- self and what I love. Over time, my brand has definitely evolved. I’ve become more confident in expressing different facets of my personality and more mindful of how my content can inspire and resonate with others. It’s been a journey of growth, both personally and professionally.

As an influencer, you collaborate with many brands. Is there a particular brand you dream of working with?
There are so many amazing brands out there that I admire,
but if I had to choose one, it would be Chanel. The brand’s legacy, elegance, and timeless appeal have always captivated me. Collaborating with Chanel would be a dream come true—a brand that perfectly aligns with my values of luxury and sophistication, and it would be incredible to create content that reflects those ideals.

Social media trends change quickly. How do you stay ahead of the curve and keep your content fresh and engaging?
Staying ahead of social media trends is both challenging and exciting. I make it a point to stay curious and constantly seek out new ideas and inspiration. I keep an eye on industry trends while also listening to what resonates with my audience. Experimentation is key—I love trying out different formats, styles, and themes to keep things fresh. However, I always prioritize authenticity, because I believe that genuine content is what truly connects with people.

Influencing often involves a lot of travel and a busy schedule. How do you manage to balance your personal life with the demands of your career? Balancing my personal life with my career as an influencer can be tough, but it’s something I’ve learned to navigate over time. Self-care is a priority for me, so I make sure to carve out time for myself, even if it’s just a few quiet moments each day.

Staying connected with family and friends is also important, so I make an effort to maintain those relationships, no matter where I am. Being organized and planning ahead helps manage the chaos, but I also try to stay flexible and go with the flow when things get hectic.

What do you like to do when you’re not creating content? Do you have any hobbies or activities that help you unwind?
When I’m not creating content, I love to unwind with activities that nourish both my mind and body. Yoga is a big part of my routine—it helps me relax and stay centered. I also enjoy reading, especially books that inspire me or teach me something new. Spending time outdoors, whether it’s taking a walk or just soaking up nature, is another way I recharge. And of course, spending quality time with loved ones is something I cherish whenever I can.

What’s the most memorable or impactful experience you’ve had as an influencer so far?
One of the most memorable experiences I’ve had as an influencer was being part of a campaign that focused on body positivity and self-love. It was incredibly meaningful to be involved in a project that resonated with so many people and promoted such an important message. Hearing from people who felt inspired by the campaign was truly rewarding. It reminded me of the power of social media to create positive change and connect with people on a deeper level.

What advice would you give to aspiring influencers who are just starting out in the industry?
My advice to aspiring influencers is to stay true to yourself and be patient. The industry can be competitive, and success doesn’t happen overnight, but if you’re passionate about it, keep going. It’s important to believe in your unique voice and not try to imi- tate someone else’s. Building relationships and networking are crucial, but so is self-care—take care of your mental and physical health, and don’t be afraid to say no when something doesn’t feel right. Most importantly, enjoy the journey, and remember why you started.
