JANE WADE SPRING/SUMMER 2024 COLLECTION “THE COMMUTE”
The Jane Wade Spring/Summer 2024 collection “The Commute” is a response to the ever-evolving corporate landscape with the commitment to empower our individualism, and focus at restructuring the rigidity and conformist nature of corporate culture. It’s a fundamental shift to the standard corporate philosophy, striving to dismantle archaic hierarchies and create a purposeful structure that embraces human existence in all forms.
Core pillars of the collection are identity in the workplace; overhauling corporate identity by eliminating the traditional codes of workplace attire and how it relates to personal expression. Alongside transitions of self in the workplace; understanding that while commuting to the workplace individuals are faced with severing from their true self. This poses a substantial problem when company culture is defined by “performative behavior.” Corporate tyranny and performative transitions of self will now be a thing of the past.
