My name is Miztique and I am 27 years old. I am a published model and an aspiring actress.
When did your interest in fashion and model begin?
My interest in fashion and modelling became more serious last year after encouraging loved ones saw my potential, took a leap of faith and here I am today as a walking talking art work.
What do you like the most about your job?
I love the idea of becoming an art piece, especially cosplay. The people I meet from different creative profession gives me a sense of belonging.
Let’s talk a bit about your actress work.
I was a parrot as a child, a mimicked haha. I did grow out of it, don’t worry. Someone offered me a small role in ‘my eyes see no different’ and then followed another opportunity that I was given for a netflix show ‘champion’ that I played a small role in.
What are the biggest challenges for you?
The biggest challenges for me are to push through feedback or comments of some things will not be possible e.g shorter models on runway. The opportunity are less but fashion and runway is evolving, I had good opportunities so far which is a blessing.
Do you have any passion besides modeling?
I have developed a new passion fir veil fans and veil poi’s, dancing in general. Quad bikes for my time away from art.
